2023 July 31th Local holiday declared Tenkasi district Aadi Thapasu Festival Celebration The district treasury and sub-treasuries, banks and other essential and emergency services would function with limited staff on the day.
At Shankaran temple, Aadithabasu Thirunal will be held on 31st (Monday). In view of this, a local holiday is being given to schools and colleges in order not to disturb the general examinations and important examinations being held in all the schools and colleges across Tenkasi district.
This local holiday does not apply to school students, teachers and officials working in connection with the examination of the concerned government public examinations if there are any on this day. 19-8-2023 (Saturday) is declared as working day to compensate this holiday.
